Ingredients

  • 1 puff pastry sheet
  • 500g pumpkin, diced
  • 200g sausage, crumbled
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 100g cheese, grated
  • Olive oil
  • Salt and pepper
  • Fresh herbs (thyme or parsley)
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (392°F).
  2. In a pan, heat olive oil and sauté the onion until translucent.
  3. Add the diced pumpkin and crumbled sausage to the pan. Cook until the pumpkin is tender and sausage is browned.
  4. Season with salt, pepper, and fresh herbs. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
  5. Roll out the puff pastry sheet on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
