Ingredients

  • 400g of potatoes
  • 200g of mushrooms
  • 150g of provola cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 50g of grated Parmesan cheese
  • Breadcrumbs
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Boil the potatoes until tender, then peel and mash them.
  2. Clean the mushrooms and sauté them in a pan with a bit of olive oil until softened. Chop them finely.
  3. In a bowl, combine the mashed potatoes, sautéed mushrooms, egg, Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper. Mix to form a dough.
  4. Cut the provola cheese into small cubes and prepare to form the meatballs.
  5. Take a piece of the potato mixture, insert a cube of provola cheese in the center, and shape it into a ball.
  6. Roll the meatballs in breadcrumbs until fully coated.
  7. Heat olive oil in a pan and fry the meatballs until golden brown on all sides.
  8. Drain on paper towels and serve warm.
