Contemporary Pizza with Sausage and Potatoes: An Italian Recipe Delight

Learn to make an exquisite Contemporary Pizza with Sausage and Potatoes, a perfect Italian recipe for pizza lovers.

Pizza contemporanea salsiccia e patate

Pizza contemporanea salsiccia e patate is a recipe by master pizzaiolo Vincenzo Capuano, a prominent figure in the new generation of Neapolitan pizza makers. This is a perfect example of contemporary Neapolitan pizza, characterized by a high-hydration dough, long fermentation, and modern working techniques, which ensure a soft, airy, and light base. The crust is pronounced yet well-balanced, while the center remains thin and soft, ready to embrace rich and flavorful toppings.

In this version, Capuano combines crispy roasted potatoes, crumbled Neapolitan sausage, and DOP buffalo mozzarella, completing it all with fresh basil and a drizzle of raw olive oil. The result is a gourmet homemade pizza that merges tradition with innovation, perfect for those wanting to bring the authentic flavor of pizza to the table with a professional touch.
