Ingredients

  • 500g creamy ricotta
  • 300ml whipping cream
  • 200g ripe figs, sliced
  • 100g walnuts, chopped
  • 100g sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, whip the cream until soft peaks form. Set aside.
  2. In another bowl, mix the ricotta, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Gently fold the whipped cream into the ricotta mixture.
  4. Add the sliced figs and chopped walnuts, mixing until evenly distributed.
  5. Transfer the mixture into a loaf pan lined with plastic wrap, smoothing the top.
  6. Cover and freeze for at least 4 hours or until firm.
  7. To serve, remove from the freezer a few minutes before slicing. Garnish with extra figs and walnuts if desired.
