Ingredients

  • 500g of all-purpose flour
  • 200g of granulated sugar
  • 200ml of milk
  • 100g of butter, softened
  • 5 large eggs
  • 1 packet of active dry yeast
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. In the Bimby® bowl, add the milk and warm it for 1 minute at 37°C, speed 1.
  2. Add the yeast and stir for 10 seconds at speed 3, then let it rest for 10 minutes.
  3. Insert the flour, sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, and salt. Knead for 3 minutes, speed knead.
  4. Add the softened butter gradually while kneading for another 5 minutes.
  5. Transfer the dough to a bowl, cover with a cloth, and let it rise for about 2 hours until doubled in size.
  6. Once risen, shape the dough into a loaf and place it into a Pandoro mold.
  7. Let it rise again for 1 hour.
  8. Preheat the oven to 180°C and bake for 40 minutes or until golden.
  9. Let it cool, then dust generously with powdered sugar before serving.
