Pasta Patate e Scampi – A Delightful Italian Recipe

Pasta Patate e Scampi is a rich and elegant Italian recipe perfect for special occasions. Try this gourmet twist on traditional pasta and potatoes.

Pasta Patate e Scampi

Pasta Patate e Scampi is an elegant and refined first course that reinterprets Campania’s culinary traditions. This dish, created by Chef Pasquale D’Ambrosio from the Capogiro restaurant at the 7Pines Resort in Baja Sardinia, captivates with its creamy texture, intense aroma, and harmonious contrast between humble and gourmet ingredients.

At its core, this dish embodies simplicity but is meticulously crafted, where each component plays a specific role: the creamy potato sauce envelops the mixed pasta with its velvety consistency, while the scampi tartare adds a fresh and fragrant note. The finishing touch of cheese, pepper, and anchovy gives it a bold and intense flavor.

The result is a stunning variation of the classic Neapolitan pasta and potatoes, equally creamy and comforting, reinterpreting the flavors of Mediterranean cuisine with a modern twist. Perfect for a special dinner, Pasta Patate e Scampi is truly a delight for the palate… try making it yourself!
