Ingredients

  • 200g ricotta cheese
  • 250g all-purpose flour
  • 60g sugar
  • 8g baking powder
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 lemon (zested)
  • Vegetable oil (for frying)
  • Granulated sugar (for coating)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix ricotta, sugar, and lemon zest until smooth.
  2. Add flour, baking powder, and salt. Mix until a dough forms.
  3. Roll out the dough on a floured surface to about 1 cm thick.
  4. Cut out donut shapes using a round cutter.
  5. Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan. Fry the graffe until golden brown on both sides.
  6. Drain on paper towels and coat with granulated sugar.
