Ingredients

  • 200g of raw almonds
  • 50g of coarse salt
  • 300ml of water
  • 1 teaspoon of olive oil (optional)

Instructions

  1. Start by boiling the water in a pot.
  2. Add the coarse salt to the boiling water and stir until dissolved.
  3. Once the salt is dissolved, add the raw almonds and boil for about 5 minutes.
  4. Drain the almonds and spread them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Optionally, drizzle with olive oil and toss to coat.
  6. Dry out the almonds in an oven preheated to 180°C (356°F) for about 10-15 minutes, or until they are golden and crunchy.
  7. Let them cool before serving.
