The original recipe calls for almonds that are to be roasted and high-quality dark chocolate, but feel free to personalize it by using different types of nuts or opting for white or milk chocolate for coating—perfect for a delectable buffet that caters to your guests’ preferences.

Ingredients

  • 200g of raw almonds
  • 200g of high-quality dark chocolate

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Spread the raw almonds on a baking tray and roast them for about 10-15 minutes until golden brown, stirring occasionally.
  2. While the almonds cool down, melt the dark chocolate in a bowl over simmering water or in the microwave in short intervals.
  3. Once melted, mix the roasted almonds into the melted chocolate until well coated.
  4. Using a fork, lift the chocolate-covered almonds from the bowl and place them on a parchment-lined tray to set. Allow them to cool completely at room temperature.
