Ingredients

  • 2 lbs of fresh squid, cleaned and cut into rings
  • 1 can (400g) of peeled tomatoes
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup of olive oil
  • 1/2 cup of white wine
  • Fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Red pepper flakes (optional, for spice)

Instructions

  1. In a large pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent.
  3. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.
  4. Add the squid rings and cook until they begin to turn opaque.
