Ingredients

  • 400g Swiss chard
  • 250g ricotta cheese
  • 50g grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 roll of puff pastry
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (356°F).
  2. Wash and chop the Swiss chard. Sauté in a pan with a little olive oil until tender.
  3. In a bowl, mix the sautéed chard with ricotta, Parmesan, salt, and pepper.
  4. Roll out the puff pastry and cut into squares or circles.
  5. Place a spoonful of the chard mixture in the center of each pastry piece.
  6. Fold the pastry over the filling, sealing the edges with a fork.
  7. Brush the tops with beaten egg.
  8. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
