Frittelle soffici al limone

Carnevale is the time of year when the craving for fried sweets becomes irresistible. The aroma of festivities fills the home, colorful masks adorn the streets, and the table is laden with delightful treats to share. And let’s face it, what’s the best way to celebrate if not with a tray of freshly made hot fritters?

Instead of the usual castagnole, today we’re making soft lemon fritters: light and fluffy, with a simple and quick batter that you can whip up in minutes. The secret to their success lies in the citrus fragrance: lemon juice and zest make these fritters irresistible, while the sugar coating flavored with lemon transforms them into a small masterpiece of goodness.

Perfect to serve while still warm, perhaps during a family snack or a themed party, these fritters are ideal for bringing a different yet delicious Carnival sweet to the table.
