Ingredients

  • 3 large bell peppers
  • 50g raisins
  • 30g pine nuts
  • Breadcrumbs from fresh bread
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • Chopped parsley
  • Olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Vinegar
  • Sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (356°F).
  2. Wash and dry the bell peppers. Cut them into strips.
  3. In a pan, heat olive oil and sauté the garlic until golden.
  4. Add the peppers and cook for about 10 minutes.
  5. Add raisins and pine nuts, then season with salt and pepper.
  6. Mix vinegar and sugar to create a sweet and sour sauce, then pour over the peppers.
  7. Continue cooking for another 5 minutes.
  8. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish.
  9. Top with breadcrumbs, parsley, and a drizzle of olive oil.
  10. Bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
