Ingredients

  • 500 g swordfish fillet
  • 2 slices of stale bread
  • 1 egg
  • 1 clove of garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons of fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 50 g grated Parmesan cheese
  • Flour, for dusting
  • Olive oil, for frying

Instructions

  1. Finely chop the swordfish fillet and place it in a large bowl.
  2. Soak the stale bread in water, then squeeze out the excess and crumble it into the bowl with the swordfish.
  3. Add the egg, minced garlic, parsley, salt, pepper, and Parmesan cheese to the bowl. Mix until well combined.
  4. Shape the mixture into small meatballs and roll them in flour.
  5. Heat olive oil in a frying pan and fry the meatballs until golden brown on all sides.
  6. Remove from the pan and drain on paper towels.
  7. Serve warm with a creamy sauce or enjoy them on their own!
