Ingredients

  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a round cake pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk the Greek yogurt and sugar together until smooth.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, blending well after each addition.
  4. Incorporate the vegetable oil and vanilla extract, mixing until fully combined.
  5. In another bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the yogurt mixture, stirring until just combined.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
  8. Bake for about 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  9. Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
