Ingredients

  • 400g of puff pastry
  • 500g of potatoes
  • 150g of bacon
  • 200g of cheese (such as mozzarella or fontina)
  • 1 medium onion
  • 2 eggs
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Peel and thinly slice the potatoes, then boil them until tender. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a pan, sauté the chopped onion and bacon until golden brown.
  4. In a bowl, mix the boiled potatoes, bacon, cheese, and beaten eggs. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Roll out the puff pastry in a tart pan and fill it with the potato mixture.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden on top.
  7. Let it cool slightly before serving. Enjoy!
