Ingredients

  • 1 sheet of oregano-flavored puff pastry
  • 200g cherry tomatoes
  • 100ml cream
  • 50g grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil
  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (356°F).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry and cut it into circles to fit your tart pans.
  3. Press the pastry into the pans and prick the base with a fork.
  4. In a bowl, mix cream, Parmesan, salt, and pepper to create the custard.
  5. Pour the custard mixture into each pastry shell.
  6. Cut cherry tomatoes in half and place them on top of the custard.
  7. Drizzle with olive oil and bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Remove from the oven and let them cool slightly before garnishing with fresh basil.
