Ingredients

  • 200g soy chunks
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 500ml vegetable broth
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Soak the soy chunks in hot water for 10 minutes, then drain and squeeze out excess water.
  2. In a large pan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped onion and sauté until translucent.
  3. Add the soy chunks and stir-fry for a few minutes. Pour in the soy sauce and mix well.
  4. Sprinkle flour over the soy chunks, stirring to coat evenly.
  5. Gradually add vegetable broth, stirring continuously to avoid lumps.
  6. Season with salt and pepper. Lower the heat and let it simmer for 30 minutes until the sauce thickens and the soy is tender.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with your choice of sides.
