Ingredients

  • 4 fresh tuna steaks
  • 200g cherry tomatoes
  • 100g black olives
  • 30g capers
  • Olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: splash of vinegar, toasted pine nuts

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
  2. Add the tuna steaks and sear for 2-3 minutes on each side.
  3. Remove the tuna and set aside.
  4. In the same pan, add cherry tomatoes, black olives, and capers.
  5. Cook until the tomatoes soften, about 5 minutes.
  6. Return the tuna to the pan, season with salt and pepper.
  7. Cook for another 2 minutes.
  8. Optional: Add a splash of vinegar and sprinkle with toasted pine nuts.
  9. Serve hot with fresh bread.
