Ingredients

  • 200g all-purpose flour
  • 100g sugar
  • 100g butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp instant coffee
  • 100g dark chocolate
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. In a bowl, mix the flour and sugar. Add the butter and work it into the mixture until crumbly.
  3. Beat the egg with the instant coffee and add to the flour mixture. Knead into a smooth dough.
  4. Roll out the dough and cut into circles. Place a piece of dark chocolate in the center of each circle and fold the dough over to seal.
  5. Arrange on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 15 minutes.
  6. Once cooled, dust with powdered sugar and serve.
