Ingredients

  • 200g type 1 flour
  • 100g chestnut flour
  • 100g vegetable butter
  • 100ml oat milk
  • 50g cocoa powder
  • 3 ripe pears
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • Jam of your choice
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (356°F).
  2. In a bowl, mix the type 1 flour, chestnut flour, and cocoa powder.
  3. Add the vegetable butter and oat milk, kneading until you form a smooth dough.
  4. Roll out the dough and place it in a tart tin.
  5. Peel and slice the pears, then mix with cinnamon and lemon zest.
  6. Spread your chosen jam over the base of the tart.
  7. Arrange the pear mixture over the jam.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes until the crust is golden.
  9. Allow to cool, then dust with powdered sugar before serving.
