Ingredients

  • 1 sheet of puff pastry
  • 500 ml milk
  • 4 egg yolks
  • 120 g sugar
  • 50 g flour
  • 1 lemon (zest)
  • Mixed fresh fruits (strawberries, kiwis, grapes, etc.)
  • Powdered sugar (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (356°F).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Prick the surface with a fork.
  3. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown. Let it cool.
  4. In a saucepan, heat the milk with lemon zest until simmering.
  5. In a bowl, whisk egg yolks with sugar until creamy, then add flour.
  6. Gradually pour the hot milk into the egg mixture, whisking continuously.
  7. Return the mixture to the saucepan and cook over low heat, stirring until thickened.
  8. Let the custard cool completely.
  9. Spread the custard over the cooled puff pastry base.
  10. Arrange the fresh fruits on top.
  11. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
